Happy Fourth of July!
The Portuguese Culture and Historical Center participated in Kailua's 73rd Annual Independence Day Parade. The route weaved through Kailua, from Palapu Street to Kailua Intermediate School.
PCHC members were greeted with a lot of cheers along the parade route as we handed out flags, pencils and club fliers.
Muito obrigado to board member Wilma Boudreau for coordinating the event, and to Leroy Rapozo for allowing members to cruise along the route in his classic truck.
